Laura Wallace Harms

Founder, Math Tutor, ACT and SAT Tutor

I have been teaching math for almost 20 years. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Tennessee and a Master of Arts Degree in Special Education from Grand Canyon University. I am certified to teach middle and high school mathematics, special education, and Behavioral Sciences. Most recently, I have been certified by the professional tutor association to teach ACT/SAT test prep.

Brooke Mavetich

Co Founder, Academic Coach, ACT/SAT English and Reading Tutor

I have served in a variety of positions throughout my tenure as a teacher including English Language Arts Department Chair, Special Education Co-Teacher, Special Education Department Chair, Athletic Academic Coach, Virtual Instructor with Impact Academy, and finally Senior Advisor for Impact Academy.

Dr. Karla Cweta

Karla Goldhahn Cwetna, Ph.D., has over 15 years experience teaching secondary mathematics, ranging from 6th grade through Precalculus. She also has over 8 years experience creating and facilitating online mathematics courses that are engaging and address the needs of multiple learning styles.

Dr. Kelley Theodocian

Academic Coach, Literacy and Writing Tutor

In 2000, I helped open Luella Middle School, and I was a member of that learning community for 13 years before joining Impact Academy in 2013. I come from a family of educators — my maternal grandmother taught grades 1 through 8 in a one-room schoolhouse in east Tennessee; my mother was a high school business education teacher; and my father was a high school teacher and football coach for five decades.
